92 million tonnes of textile waste are produced each year worldwide, including 4 million in Europe.
The question is: can this waste be transformed into new products?
Stanley/Stella responds by presenting its very first recycled cotton t-shirts.

The RE-Creator and RE-Blaster which are made of 50% recycled organic cotton from offcuts and 50% undyed virgin organic cotton.

The recycling process

The offcuts are collected and finely shredded before being blended with virgin organic cotton. The fibres are then twisted to create new yarn that will be woven into the fabric that will be used for RE-Style items.

Stanley/Stella does not use dyes on garments to reduce the ecological footprint.

Undyed virgin organic cotton is mixed with white, black and blue organic cotton waste to create a natural mottled effect.

By removing the dyeing process, Stanley/Stella limits the consumption of chemicals but also the amount of water used per garment.

Recycled cotton saves many resources

Each kilo of recycled yarn corresponds to a saving of:

- 20,000 liters of water,

- 200 grams of pesticides and fertilizers,

- 2.7 grams of dyes and chemicals,

- a reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

Can the RE-Style collection be printed?

Due to the mixed composition of recycled and virgin organic cotton, the shades of RE-Creator and RE-Blaster may vary slightly during production. They still offer excellent printability.

The RE-Creator is our iconic unisex Creator remastered in a recycled version, while the RE-Blaster is a recycled version of the oversized unisex high-neck Blaster.

Both models come in three colors: RE-Black black, RE-Navy navy blue and RE-White white.
